Abstract
With this research, it is aimed to reveal the relationship between the visionary leadership characteristics of teachers and school administrators and the communication skills of teachers. It is thought that this research will contribute to the literature by examining the effects of teachers' perceptions of school administrators' visionary leadership characteristics on their communication skills. It is aimed that this study will provide a different perspective to the literature because there is no similar research when the literature is examined. For this purpose, the opinions of 200 administrators and teachers in Ereğli district of Zonguldak province were consulted. The data collection tool was the "Visionary Leadership Competences of School Principals" scale developed by Sabancı (2007) and the "Evaluation of Teachers' Communication Skills" developed by Yıldız, Kılıç and Yavuz (2018). T-test and ANOVA analyzes were used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, it was seen that there was no significant relationship between teachers' perceptions of school administrators' visionary leadership characteristics and teachers' communication skills. Accordingly, it can be stated that teachers' perceptions of school administrators' visionary leadership characteristics do not have any positive or negative effect on their communication skills.
