Abstract
In the study, the professional value scale was applied to 152 teachers in the Selçuklu district of Konya. The study examines the relationship between teachers' professional values and variables such as gender, education level, in-service training and years of service. According to the research results, no statistically significant differences were detected between these variables. Especially in terms of gender, no significant difference was observed in terms of professional values between both male and female teachers. In the comparison between teachers who received in-service training and those who did not, although the values of teachers who received training were slightly higher, this difference is not statistically significant. This finding may suggest that in-service training does not have a significant effect on teachers' professional values. Moreover, no significant relationship was found between teachers' professional career duration and professional values, which questions the expected effect of experience on these values. It reveals that teachers' professional values remain stable across a wide range and are similar regardless of gender, educational level, in-service training status or years of service. This should be taken into account in the design of education policies and teacher training programs.
