Abstract
Teachers; Since they have a vision that supports development beyond knowledge transfer, they have leadership characteristics that can be the pioneer of social development. Teacher leadership has a supportive effect on students' cognitive and affective development. Thanks to their personal skills, teacher leaders can bring solutions to problems from different perspectives and provide comfort in reaching the goals of the organization. Based on the importance of the subject, the Teacher Leadership Scale was applied to 118 teachers in Mersin. According to the results of the analysis, no significant relationship was found between the demographic characteristics of the participants and their leadership behaviors.
